HITC Sport understands Leicester City are willing to let Danny Simpson leave the club on loan.
Leicester City defender Danny Simpson is a target for a number of clubs after being made available for loan, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Simpson was not part of Leicester's matchday squad for their opening day Premier League win over Sunderland last weekend and it appears he does not figure in the immediate plans of new Foxes manager Claudio Ranieri.
The former Manchester United youth product joined Leicester last summer from Queens Park Rangers and helped the club pull off their great escape from relegation last term.
The 28-year-old made 16 appearances in all competitions for Leicester last season, but struggled to hold a regular place at right-back.
Simpson still has two years to run on his contract at the King Power Stadium, but with his first-team chances expected to be limited this season the club are prepared to send him out on loan so that he can some match action under his belt.
The news of his availability has alerted a number of clubs in the Premier League and Championship who are weighing up moves for the experienced full-back.
