Tottenham's Dominic Ball confirms Rangers loan deal via Twitter, second deal reported

Rangers are thought to be close to announcing a deal for two Tottenham Hotspur prospects.

Tottenham Hotspur youngster Dominic Ball has confirmed via Twitter that he is joining Rangers for the season.

SkySports are reporting that Rangers have agreed a double deal to also sign Nathan Oduwa.

Both players are part of Tottenham's under-21 squad and are highly rated at the club.

Ball is a centre-back who made his first team debut last season, and was later loaned out to League Two side Cambridge United.

Oduwa is an exciting winger who scored in Monday's under-21 win over Everton. He was on loan at Luton Town at the end of last season.

Rangers boss Mark Warburton is a big advocate of youth football and has a proven track record of developing young players.

Spurs will have been encouraged by seeing how he was able to help Alex Pritchard excel while at Brentford last year.

Rangers are bidding to earn promotion this season back to the Scottish Premiership, after falling short in the play-offs last time around.
