Leeds have reportedly bid for Anthony Limbombe.
Leeds have made a bid for talented winger Anthony Limbombe, report Fox News Netherlands.
Limbombe plays for Eredivisie side NEC Nijmegen, who he helped win promotion as champions from the second tier last season.
The bid from Leeds is worth a reported two million Euros, converted at £1.4 million.
Fox News Netherlands report NEC Nijmegen have rejected the offer and have no plans to sell.
Limbombe is a 21-year-old winger from Belgium who has previously represented his country at under-19 level.
He has a contract until 2017, and was signed from Genk just last summer.
Last season he was prolific, scoring 14 goals in league games, 16 in all competitions, with a further 11 assists along the way.
The move is a sign of positive ambition from Leeds, who last week signed winger Stuart Dallas for a similar fee.
It remains to be seen whther Leeds will return for Limbombe and if they can afford to tempt the Dutch side into a sale.
