Crystal Palace star Yohan Cabaye was a mixture of smiles and concentration as he was pictured training with his teammates ahead of this weekend's match against Arsenal at Selhurst Park, as published by the Eagles Twitter account.
The former Newcastle and PSG star certainly has every reason to be happy after his move to South London. The 29-year-old struggled in his attempts to become a key man at the Parc des Princes after leaving the Premier League two years ago, finding himself very much a bit part player for the French giants and rather a back up man under Laurent Blance.
Already since moving to Palace, Cabaye has seen himself lauded as one of the best transfers of the summer and an essential player in what is a fast improving Crystal Palace side.
Playing under Alan Pardew, a manager who has helped the France international achieve some of his best football, Cabaye is set up to be the fulcrum of the Eagles' exciting attacking play.
This was evident in the opening day win away to Norwich, as Palace blew away one of the best defences in the Championship last season, scoring four times, and with Cabaye netting the final strike late on.
The feel good factor was clearly on display all round on Tuesday, with Adrian Mariappa and Martin Kelly also looking happy ahead of the London derby against the Gunners.
