Liverpool transfer round-up: Enrique admits frustration at Anfield, duo linked with exits

All the latest summer transfer news from Anfield...

According to the London Evening Standard, Liverpool striker Fabio Borini is wanted by Inter Milan, Fiorentina and Lazio - but his wage demands could scupper a deal.

Borini, 24, was Brendan Rodgers' first signing as Liverpool boss back in 2012, but has struggled to make any sort of impact during his time at Anfield.

After another disappointing season on Merseyside, Borini looked set for the exit - but the report from the London Evening Standard suggests that the Italian is unwilling to take any sort of pay cut from his £55,000-a-week wages at Liverpool, which is delaying his exit.

Another player being linked with a move to Italy is centre back Mamadou Sakho, who is a reported target for Serie A giants Roma.

The Frenchman has often impressed during his appearances for the Reds, but has still yet to nail down a regular first team place under Brendan Rodgers since joining from Paris Saint-Germain two years ago.

Now, with Roma looking for defensive reinforcements, Calcio Mercato report that Rudi Garcia's men are considering a move to sign Sakho.

Finally, Spanish left back Jose Enrique has told Marca that he may have to leave Anfield after being 'alienated' by manager Rodgers, but wants to fight for his career with the Reds.

"The club have alienated Balotelli, Borini and me," said Enrique. "I have a year left on my contract and I imagine the club will want to sell, but I still want to stay and fight as I always have. I will not give up. I know from experience that football changes from day to night," he added.
