Former Premier League forward Fernando Torres has told The Mirror he believes Pedro will be a success in England.
Pedro scored the winner in the UEFA Super Cup against Sevilla last night, in what could his final game for the club.
Torres told The Mirror that Pedro's style of football lends itself to playing in England and he would be a hit.
He said: "If he decides that England is the next step in his career, I am sure he will do very well there.
“He has all the ability you would expect from a player who has been at Barcelona for so many years, but also he has a great work ethic.
"He works hard, he will help defend, he won’t be bullied, he has everything to succeed in the Premier League."
Torres knows all about playing in England after substantial spells with both Chelsea and Liverpool - to mixed results.
For Liverpool he achieved personal greatness, scoring freely and leading the club's attack, almost firing the Reds to the title.
He was instrumental in Rafa Benitez's side and it was a huge shock when he was sold to Chelsea in 2011.
At Chelsea however he struggled badly for goals, appearing a shadow of his former self. Having ripped United to shreds at Old Trafford, the memory of him for the Blues there is missing an open goal.
He did however win trophies at Stamford Bridge, going onto win the Champions League in 2012, but has since returned to Spain with Atletico Madrid.
