Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie has been singing the praises of teammate Yohan Cabaye to Goal.com.
Former Newcastle United midfielder Cabaye joined Palace from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain last month.
Bolasie has been impressed with the France international and has spoken highly of him.
“He is top class, you could see if from the first-day, a real 'baller' as we like to say - his first touch is like nothing I have come across before," Bolasie told Goal.com.
"He is already looking towards his next move before he gets the ball as he knows he is taking down any ball that comes to him.
"And you can already see that rubbing off on everyone, but he has fitted in so well - you would not know he has just come in from Paris Saint-Germain."
Bolasie made the aforementioned comments about Cabaye before last weekend’s round of matches in the Premier League.
As if just to prove his teammate right, the former Lille star made a dream start to his Palace career.
The 29-year-old started the Premier League game against Norwich City away from home on Saturday afternoon and played for the entire 90 minutes
The midfielder gave a good account of himself and helped the Eagles register a 3-1 victory over the Canaries at Carrow Road.
Cabaye scored Palace’s third and final goal of the encounter late on and also created one chance.
The former Newcastle star had a pass accuracy of 88% and won four of the eight tackles he attempted.
