Sunderland player Kaboul has named a Tottenham heavy five-a-side team.
Hugo Lloris, William Gallas, Luka Modric, Gareth Bale and Jermain Defoe were all selected, with Defoe the only player to currently be turning out with Kaboul - at Sunderland.
It is hard to deny that the team is strong, and the likes of Modric and Bale would make any player’s dream side, but Kabul’s decision will hardly endear him to Sunderland fans.
Especially following his horror show debut at the weekend.
Playing in central defence, Kaboul was part of the side which conceded four goals on the opening day of the Premier League season, and the Frenchman was culpable for many of the defensive errors.
He hardly looks the top class player Sunderland thought they were signing from Spurs, and may Kaboul wishes he had players of Bale’s quality in front of him to make up for his errors.
The centre-back has a long way to go before he endears him self to the Black Cats’ faithful, but he could have made it easier had he selected some Sunderland players in his five-a-side dream team.
