Former Leeds United head coach was watching fellow Yorkshire club Huddersfield this evening.
Neil Redfearn has been spotted at his first game of the 2015/16 season.
The former Premier League player ended last season as Leeds United head coach, stepping up from his role as head of academy.
Appointed in October, he was the side's third permanent boss of the season, and succeeded in steadying the ship. Fans bought into his methods, appreciating Redfearn like them grew up a Leeds supporter and was living his dream.
By the season's end it was clear to see he did not have the board's backing, and it came as little surprise owner Massimo Cellino chose to go in a different direction this summer.
He was offered the chance to stay on in his old role, but handed in his resignation last month, with The BBC reporting the Redfearn felt the club made his position 'untenable'.
He was pictured last night by BBC West Yorkshire (above) watching Huddersfield Town taking on Notts County from the stands at the John Smith's Stadium.
Leeds fans would surely love to see him mixing in at Elland Road this week, but the proud Yorkshireman may feel it is a little too soon, or too difficult to go and watch the side he was leading out from the dugout just months ago.
