Time to buy a new Manchester United shirt?
It is a gamble many Manchester United fans will have fallen foul of.
When the Red Devils pulled off two mega-money transfer deals in terms of fees and wages last summer to sign Angel di Maria and Radamel Falcao, who could have believed both would be gone within 12 months?
Supporters flocked to buy shirts adorning the names of their new heroes, and are now stuck with them.
The picture above was taken outside Old Trafford on Saturday, ahead of the club's win over Tottenham.
Shirts are often outdated within a season, with new replicas released, but providing the players become heroes, the shirts can last a lifetime.
That was not the case with either of the South American duo, who dazzled in La Liga but not the Premier League.
United fans were not exactly given much notice by the club though, with the Red Devils only announcing this season's squad number 24 hours before the game.
Di Maria and Falcao shirts may become collectors items in the future, but expect to see fewer and fewer around Old Trafford as the season wears on, and new heroes emerge - and hopefully enjoy far more success.
