From Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger to West Ham United’s Slaven Bilic, these Premier League managers as player stickers are a sight to behold

Growing up as an avid fan of all things Premier League, one of the best things about each and every new season was the release of the annual sticker album.

For the next year you would be busy building your collection, saving up pocket money for new packs of sticky-backed pictures of football men and trading with friends in the hope of completing sets.

It was a joyous time of innocence and great big ‘taches, which were still sort of a thing in the 1990s - when players like Peter Fear and Andy Impey were household names.

Fast forward to the modern day and though the age of the sticker may be a distant memory for many fully grown football fans from that era, the appeal of these pictures is as present as ever.

So when one football fan decided to tweet out an image of all 20 of the Premier League’s current crop of managers as players, and more specifically football stickers, we kind of lost our nut.

Apparently cropped from a far away forum on Football365, the image is a joy to behold.

Particular highlights include: Ronald Koeman’s haircut, Brendan Rodgers looking like a teenage girl and Tim Sherwood’s wet look.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg, though, with other notable pictures including a young, yet still terrifying, Louis van Gaal, an ageless Garry Monk and Tony Pulis with hair.

Special mention also goes to Dick Advocaat who, on the basis of this image, appears to have played his football around about the time Robin Hood was terrorising the Sheriff of Nottingham.
