West Ham United defeated Arsenal 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.

West Ham United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Dimitri Payet and Reece Oxford against Arsenal on Sunday.

Attacking midfielder Payet and 16-year-old Oxford were two of the best players for the Hammers at the Emirates Stadium in North London, as they won the Premier League encounter 2-0.

While the France international was superb going forward and was a menace to the Arsenal defence, Oxford gave a calm and composed performance in midfield in what was his first ever game in the Premier League.

Not many Premier League observers would have predicted the Hammers to score twice without reply at the Emirates, but they did exactly that.

While the Gunners had more possession than their London rivals, the way Slaven Bilic’s side stopped their attacks and burst forward was truly brilliant.

Following the win, West Ham fans took to Twitter to have their say on the performance of Payet and Oxford in their opening Premier League game of the season.
