Thierry Henry says that Barcelona winger Pedro would be a good signing for Manchester United.

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has explained in The Sun why Barcelona winger Pedro would be a good signing for Manchester United.

Henry played with the Spain international at Barcelona, and he believes that the 28-year-old would be a success at Old Trafford.

The former France international has also stated that Pedro would be a better fit at United than Angel di Maria was.

Argentina international attacker Di Maria joined the Red Devils from Real Madrid in the summer of 2014, but he left for Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month.

“Angel Di Maria’s game was based on running free from the right or the left,” Henry wrote in The Sun. “He didn’t fit into Van Gaal’s set-up and that’s why they have sold him.

“Pedro will be much more disciplined. He was more than important to Barcelona’s success, even though he spent much of last season as back-up for Messi, Neymar and Suarez.”

“Pedro is generous in his defending, he can score goals and give plenty of assists,” added the former Arsenal striker. “He is a great professional who will do anything for the team.”

Good signing for Manchester United?

Pedro is one of the best players in the world, and he is also somewhat underrated.

The Spaniard has been very important to Barcelona’s success and the way they play over the past few years.

Moreover, the 28-year-old is also a winner, having clinched the Champions League thrice and La Liga five times with the Blaugrana.

Signing Pedro would enhance United’s chances of winning the Premier League title this season.
