Crystal Palace got their season off to a fine start yesterday, beating Norwich City 3-1 at Carrow Road. In a game full of refereeing controversies goals from Wilfried Zaha, Damien Delaney and new signing Yohan Cabaye saw The Eagles soar above The Canaries in Norfolk.
It was a performance which outlined Palace's credentials as everyone's favourite dark horses for the upcoming campaign.
Today however it is back to work. Palace were back in training at their Beckenham training ground today and one of their players showed off his humble way of getting to training on Twitter this afternoon.
Whilst most footballers you see on Sky Sports News rolling into training do so in a Range Rover or a Bentley, former Liverpool defender Martin Kelly did so on what appears to be a bus.
It could also be the Beckenham tram but either way it is certainly a far cry from the image of professional footballers most have in their mind at this present time.
Reportedly he is not alone, with players such as Jordon Mutch also inclined to use public transport to get to training.
It is that sort of humble mindset that could prove to be the difference for Palace this season.
