Confirmed: West Brom v Manchester City line-ups - Lambert and Sterling start

West Brom host Manchester City at The Hawthorns.

West Bromwich Albion host Manchester City in the last remaining Premier League game of the opening week of fixtures.

The Baggies are hoping to build on last season's transition, which saw Alan Irvine sacked as boss in December with the club 16th in the Premier League, and Tony Pulis appointed in his place, ensuring their survival.

West Brom are ambitious enough that they will be aiming for more than that, wanting to get as close to a top 10 finish as possible.

Signings this summer include wingers James McClean from Wigan Athletic and Serge Gnabry on loan from Arsenal, and striker Rickie Lambert from Liverpool.

Manchester City are determined to reclaim the Premier League title they poorly defended last season.

This was evident in their £49 million capture of Raheem Sterling from Liverpool. They have also strengthen in midfield by signing Fabian Delph from Aston Villa, but injury keeps him out of tonight's game.
