Tottenham transfer news: Pochettino eyeing Alvaro Vadillo; Aaron Lennon wants Everton move

A select round-up of the latest news relating to Tottenham Hotspur

According to a report from the Sun, Tottenham Hotspur are considering a move for Real Betis winger Alvaro Vadillo.

The 20-year-old Spaniard is a left winger who has played 54 times for Betis to date but last year he was struck down with a cruciate ligament injury that saw him miss the vast majority of last season.

That said, he did return to appear seven times in the Segunda Division and with his injury problems behind him he is reportedly being considered as a wide option for Spurs.

Tottenham lost their opening Premier League game of the season 1-0 on Saturday and it would be no surprise to see more new signings arrive this month.

In other news, the Sun reports that Tottenham wide-man Aaron Lennon is to snub a move to Aston Villa (and a reunion with Tim Sherwood) as he holds out for a possible return to former loan club Everton.

The England international impressed at Goodison Park last season but it remains to be seen if the Toffees will spend big to sign him permanently.
