Indeed, the former forward feels Julian Dicks has made a real difference since his appointment to Slaven Bilic's backroom staff at Upton Park this summer.
This was a performance that smacked of 'the Terminator' - as well as Bilic - as West Ham executed their game plan to perfection and defended brilliantly, leaving the Emirates Stadium with a clean sheet to their name.
And, while many flocked to praise Reece Oxford for his superb Premier League debut aged just 16 - and Dimitri Payet and Mauro Zarate and Cheikhou Kouayte etc etc - Marsh lauded Dicks on Twitter for his work behind the scenes.
