Report: West Ham United interested in Hull City’s Tom Huddlestone

Hull City midfielder Tom Huddlestone is reportedly on the radar of Premier League outfit West Ham United.

West Ham United are interested in signing Tom Huddlestone from Hull City this month, according to The Sun.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that the Hammers are weighing up a move for the former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder after running into problems with two of their targets.

According to The Sun, Barcelona midfielder Alex Song has fitness issues, while former Leicester City star Esteban Cambiasso has joined Greek club Olympiakos.

Good move for West Ham United?

Huddlestone has been on the books of Hull since 2013 and is one of the most important players for the Tigers.

The 28-year-old failed to prevent Hull from getting relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season and is now playing in the Championship.

The Englishman is a good player who can do the job in midfield, and he would be a decent signing for the Hammers.

While one should not expect great things from Huddlestone, the former Derby County star is someone who is reliable and has experience.
