Report: Cardiff City want Boaz Myhill on loan from West Brom

Cardiff City reportedly want Boaz Myhill on loan from West Bromwich Albion as part of a David Marshall deal.

Cardiff City are interested in signing Boaz Myhill from West Bromwich Albion this month, according to The Sun.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that the Championship outfit want to recruit the 32-year-old goalkeeper on a season-long loan deal.

West Brom are reportedly interested in Cardiff custodian David Marshall, and the Buebirds allegedly want Myhill as part of that deal.

The Sun claims that although the Baggies are keen on the 30-year-old Scotland international, they are reluctant to pay over £5 million as transfer fee for him.

Should West Bromwich Albion take the deal?

Myhill is part of West Brom’s long-term plan, having recently signed a new contract with the Baggies.

However, if the Premier League outfit are so keen on Marshall and want him as their first-choice goalkeeper for the 2015-16 campaign, then they should accept Cardiff’s demands and send Myhill to the Cardiff City Stadium on a season-long loan deal.
