Leeds United played out a 1-1 draw with Burnley at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday.

Leeds United goalkeeper Marco Silvestri has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s draw with Burnley on Saturday.

The Whites kicked off their 2015-16 Championship campaign with a 1-1 draw with the Clarets at Elland Road.

The West Yorkshire outfit headed into the encounter with confidence, but they had to settle for a share of the spoils.

In what proved to be an entertaining game of football, it was Leeds who took the lead in the 83rd minute.

Second-half substitute Mirco Antenucci found the target for the West Yorkshire outfit with a superb curling effort from 25 yards.

However, Burnley equalised just three minutes later when Sam Vokes headed in debutant Tendayi Darikwa's right-wing cross.

Over the course of the 90 minutes, Leeds had 49% of the possession, took 15 shots of which four were on target, and earned four corners.

Visitors Burnley had 51% of the possession, took 10 shots of which four were on target, and earned four corners.

Following the draw, Silvestri took to Twitter to revel in the success.
