There was sheer delight among those involved with West Ham on Sunday afternoon.

West Ham United fans were in dreamland on Sunday afternoon - which is just what they needed after their midweek Europa League exit.

Indeed, the Hammers beat Arsenal 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday and there was nothing but sheer delight on show among the West Ham faithful after the game.

But the joy wasn't confined simply to the supporters. Players, coaches and, of course, the West Ham co-owners were delighted.

David Gold reacted to a great victory on Twitter and thanked the east London side's vocal fanbase.

And a host of West Ham's players also reacted on social media, with defensive hero Aaron Cresswell chief among them.

He too thanked the traveling fans and was over the moon with a famous result for the Hammers, made all the more sweet as it came at Arsenal's expense.

Next up for West Ham are Leicester City, who could even pose more of a test than the lethargic Gunners did on Sunday afternoon.

But, if Slaven Bilic's men can forego complacency and maintain their sensational work-rate, West Ham fans may well be celebrating two wins out of two next weekend.
