Celtic will take on Partick Thistle away from home in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon…

Celtic will be looking to make it two wins out of two in the Scottish Premiership this season when they take on Partick Thistle away from home this afternoon.

The Bhoys will head into today’s match at the Firhill Stadium in Glasgow having won 2-0 against Ross County at Celtic Park last weekend.

Ronny Deila’s side will be favourites to pick up all three points against Partick, just as they are favourites to win the Scottish league title for the fourth season in a row.

Thistle kicked off their 2015-16 Scottish Premiership campaign with a goalless draw with Hamilton Academical away from home last weekend.

The Jags have a miserable record against defending Scottish Premiership champions Celtic.

Thistle haven't got the better of the Hoops since 1995, when Roddy Grant and a Wayne Foster double eased relegation fears with a 3-1 win at Hampden, which was hosting Celtic matches at the time.

This is how Celtic will line up against Thistle:

Celtic XI: Gordon; Lustig, Boyata, van Dijk, Izaguirre; Bitton, Johansen; Commons, Rogic, Armstrong; Griffiths

Subs: Bailly, Ambrose, Scepovic, Mackay-Steven, Janko, McGregor, Henderson
