Rosler believes new Leeds signing Stuart Dallas 'excited the supporters' against Burnley

Leeds boss Uwe Rosler was impressed with new signing Stuart Dallas' performance against Burnley.

Leeds United manager Uwe Rosler has told the club's official Twitter account that new signing Stuart Dallas did well against Burnley today.

The Whites played out a 1-1 draw at Elland Road this afternoon, but can certainly feel proud of the way they played against a team recently relegated from the Premier League.

Substitute Mirco Antenucci put Leeds in front with just seven minutes to play, bending a superb strike into the corner to send Elland Road wild.

However, Burnley hit back just minutes later, with Sam Vokes heading the ball home from a Tendayi Darikwa cross to snatch a point on the opening day.

Leeds boss Rosler handed competitive debuts to new signings Tom Adeyemi and Chris Wood, whilst summer arrival Stuart Dallas also started on the left wing despite only recently arriving from Brentford.

The Northern Ireland international produced an impressive display, and manager Rosler praised his display when speaking to the Leeds official Twitter account.

With pace and drive down the left, Dallas gave Leeds something they had been missing last season, and if that is how he performs with little fitness, then Leeds have a key player on their hands.

Dallas was particularly impressive in the first half, and Leeds fans certainly appeared to be excited by his display - and will believe that he can become a vital player under Rosler this season and beyond.
