Rio Ferdinand and Andy Cole react on Twitter to Manchester United win

Manchester United kicked off their 2015-16 Premier League campaign with a win on Saturday.

Rio Ferdinand has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Manchester United’s performance against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils kicked off their 2015-16 Premier League campaign with a narrow 1-0 win against Spurs at home.

England international defender Kyle Walker’s own goal midway through the first half proved to be the difference between the two sides at Old Trafford.

Former United defender Ferdinand was following the game, and he has highlighted some of the positives for Louis van Gaal’s side, including the three points.

Former United stars Andy Cole and Paul McGrath also took to Twitter to have their say on United’s victory over Spurs on Saturday.

United’s performance against Tottenham at Old Trafford left much to be desired, but at the end of the day they got the three points.

The Red Devils will be challenging for the Premier League title this season, and the win against Spurs will come handy.
