In what proved to be an entertaining game of football, it was Leeds who took the lead in the 83rd minute.
Second-half substitute Mirco Antenucci found the target for the West Yorkshire outfit with a superb curling effort from 25 yards.
However, Burnley equalised just three minutes later when Sam Vokes headed in debutant Tendayi Darikwa's right-wing cross.
