Liverpool will take on Stoke City away from home in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Liverpool players were training at Melwood on Friday, as they continue to prepare for Sunday’s Premier League clash against Stoke City on Sunday.

The Reds will be keen on kicking off their 2015-16 Premier League campaign with a win against Stoke away from home at the Britannia Stadium.

Among the players training under the watchful eyes of manager Brendan Rodgers on Friday was Jordan Rossiter (see photo above).

The 18-year-old midfielder trained with the Liverpool first team on many occasions last season, and it seems that he continues to be given the chance to do so.

The teenager has yet to feature in the Premier League for the Merseyside outfit, but he played in the League Cup during the 2014-15 campaign.

Rossiter was also part of the Liverpool squad that went on a pre-season tour of Thailand, Australia and Malaysia last month.

It remains to be seen when the youngster gets to make his Premier League debut, but it appears that it will be sooner rather than later.
