The midfield maestro has taken to Twitter after opening day defeat.
The result was a tight one, which in the end finished with a hard fought 1-0 win for Brighton.
Forest had their chances in a game from which a fair result might have been a draw, but the clinical aspect of Brighton’s game was better than Forest’s and that, in the end, proved the difference.
It was disappointing for Forest, whose upcoming campaign looks a mystery potentially based on their future transfer movement.
One player they will not want to be leaving is Henri Lansbury. The star midfielder has been linked with Burnley recently, but no deal looks like happening in the coming weeks.
He was one of the only players at Forest to react to the performance and result last night on Twitter. He took to the site today to send this message to his followers after a disappointing result:
Disappointed in not getting something from the game last night will go again Tuesday and then Saturday #cityground great following again— Henri Lansbury (@lansburyhenri) August 8, 2015
Forest are currently under a transfer embargo which is making any summer recruitment very difficult for the new campaign.
With that in mind they might be in for a tough season in the Championship – as most of the teams around them improve.
