Tottenham lost their opening game of the 2015-16 Premier League campaign 1-0 at Old Trafford.
Kyle Walker’s own goal midway through the first half proved to be the difference between the two teams in Manchester.
Former Tottenham midfielder Hazard was following the game, and he was disappointed with the final result.
However, the 55-year-old believes that there are positives to take from the game and seems confident of the season ahead.
Gutted but feel proud, we deserved more from that game, just a bit more oomph and we could have won but still heading in right directionCOYS— Micky Hazard (@1MickyHazard) August 8, 2015
Saturday’s game at Old Trafford was not exactly a classic, but Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs did not play badly and probably deserved a point from the encounter.
Over the course of the 90 minutes, the North London outfit had 50% of the possession, took nine shots of which four were on target, and earned two corners.
