Graham Roberts has taken to social networking site Twitter to send Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Nabil Bentaleb a message following his mistake on Saturday afternoon.
The 20-year-old Algeria international played a huge role in Spurs’ 1-0 defeat to Manchester United away from home in the Premier League.
It was the youngster’s pass that was intercepted in the first half, and it eventually led to Kyle Walker scoring an own goal.
That goal proved to be the difference between the two teams at Old Trafford, making former Tottenham defender Roberts far from happy.
@nabilbentaleb42 needs to learn quickly you can't make mistakes, that's twice at Man Utd and we've lost the game— Graham Roberts (@GrahamRoberts4) August 8, 2015
Bentaleb is an exciting young talent and is an important player for North London outfit Spurs, but he had a game to forget against United.
The Algerian youngster had a pass accuracy of 78%, lost possession as many as 11 times, failed to win a single tackle and won just two duels during the 53 minutes he was on the pitch.
