Tottenham Hotspur went down 1-0 to Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Premier League earlier today.

Don Hutchison has highlighted on social networking site Twitter a familiar problem for Tottenham Hotspur.

The former Liverpool and West Ham United midfielder was not pleased with the way Spurs conceded the goal against Manchester United midway through the first half of the Premier League encounter at Old Trafford earlier today.

It went down as a Kyle Walker own goal, as the North London outfit suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Louis van Gaal’s side.

Hutchison was following the match, and he was far from pleased with Tottenham’s defending for the goal.

Despite the defeat, Tottenham did play relatively well and gave a good account of themselves at Old Trafford.

Over the course of the 90 minutes, the North London outfit had 50% of the possession, took nine shots of which four were on target, and earned two corners.

It is a disappointing start to the 2015-16 Premier League campaign for Spurs, but they should remain optimistic about the season ahead.
