Chuba Akpom got his Hull City career off to a brilliant start on Saturday afternoon as he netted for Steve Bruce's side during a 2-0 win in the Championship.
Sadly, there isn't quite room for him in Arsenal's first team just yet - although that's a plus considering he isn't quite ready for the Premier League on a regular basis. But, for Hull, the 19-year-old has immediately impressed. And Hull City supporters were delighted with his debut on Twitter. So too were the Gunners faithful.
Should Akpom regularly impress, he may even find his way back to Arsenal later this term - especially if Arsene Wenger's side suffer from their traditional bout of mid-season injuries.
A full campaign at Hull City won't harm the teenager in any way, however, and definitely if he can continue to score goals as the league campaign progresses. Here's how both Hull and Arsenal fans reacted to his performance on Twitter:
Impressed with each of #hcafc's debutants today. Taylor's experience showed, Clucas neat & tidy, Hayden grew into the game & Akpom exciting— Brad Rial (@BradRial) August 8, 2015
Akpom has instantly shut me up, long may it continue #hcafc— Michael Desforges (@Dessie_Hull) August 8, 2015
Chuba Akpom is lively, isn't he? Glad he's put to bed the 'never scored a league goal' argument to bed on his debut #hcafc— Bentos (@bentos_j) August 8, 2015
Enjoyed watching Akpom - lively and took his goal well, Taylor looked classy and Hayden grew into the game after a few early slips #hcafc— Dan Kemp (@1_DanKemp) August 8, 2015
That tbh was as best an opening day we could have wished for! Class shone through, Akpom looks a good find! Bright times ahead #hcafc— Lee Scott (@LeeScott92) August 8, 2015
