Nottingham Forest new boy Jamie Ward appeared to immediately win over fans despite an opening day defeat.
Forest lost their Championship opener 1-0 to Brighton and Hove Albion, with a first half strike from Kazenga Lua-Lua.
Ward was a controversial summer signing, picked up as a free agent having been released by East Midlands rivals Derby County.
He played 80 minutes in the loss at the Amex, but was one of Forest's brighter players, bettering teammate Michail Antonio in three key categories.

He created three goalscoring chances as opposed to Michail Antonio's two, managed a shot on target, and recorded a far higher pass completion rate.
Only Henri Lansbury (5) made more key passes than Ward, with the new signing also making a team high six tackles.
More production will ultimately be required for Ward to be a success, but amid a disappointing opening defeat, Ward's performance was at least a bright spot.
Here is a look at how Nottingham Forest fans reacted to his performance on Twitter...
Jamie ward - tenacious hard worker and looks a threat. Happy with that. #nffc— JT (@Turns88) August 7, 2015
Never thought I'd say this but Jamie Ward actually looks pretty tidy #nffc— Edward James Timmins (@timmins99) August 7, 2015
Really like the look of Jamie Ward, provides something we've been missing for a while. #nffc— Andy Mac (@mckenzie2410) August 7, 2015
Jamie Ward has been our stand out player so far I must say #NFFC— Daniel Beeston (@NFFC_LowerBC) August 7, 2015
Been impressed with the two signings so far, ward looks nippy and getting stuck in and mills commanding at the back #nffc— Matt NFFC (@suttykid77) August 7, 2015
Love Ward already. Not spectacular. Retains ball, tracks runners, gets crosses in. Need more from Antonio. Henri needs to support Dex #nffc— Guy Smith (@Guy_Smith) August 7, 2015
