Michael Owen predicts Arsenal v West Ham United

Michael Owen looks ahead to Arsenal’s Premier League clash against West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

Michael Owen has predicted in his Betvictor.com column that Arsenal will kick off their 2015-16 Premier League campaign with a win.

The former Manchester United and Liverpool striker believes that the Gunners will get the better of London rivals West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The Gunners have won their last nine against the Irons’ who were in Europa League action in Romania on Thursday evening although new boss Slaven Bilic was due to play a weakened side despite the first leg finishing with the tie on a knife-edge at 2-2,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.

“All Arsenal fans will be disappointed to hear of the latest injury to Jack Wilshere but I expect to see a home win at the Emirates.”

Do you agree with Michael Owen’s prediction?

Arsenal will indeed head into the encounter on Sunday as favourites, as they have a better squad and are at home.

Arsene Wenger’s side are one of the favourites to win the Premier League title this season, and they will be keen on making a winning start to the season.

West Ham, though, will not be easy pushovers, as Slaven Bilic’s side have a lofty ambition of finishing in the top eight of the English top flight.

An early goal for the Hammers could make it tricky for Arsenal, but the Gunners should eventually come out on top.
