The Bosnian is on his way to Serie A side AS Roma this summer.
It looks as though Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko is departing the club. The Bosnian, who arrived at City in 2011 after impressing in German football with VfL Wolfsburg, struggled for first-team football in recent times.
He arrived in Rome today and was greeted by hundreds of Gialorossi fans ahead of a move to AS Roma this summer.
The striker has of course had some memorable moments at City. He scored four goals in one game against Tottenham Hotspur and the equaliser in the infamous title winning fixture with QPR in 2012.
The player who went on to score the winning goal in that game has now sent a Tweet to Dzeko, wishing him all the best in his new endeavours.
Sergio Aguero Tweeted:
The real question is, will City now bring in a striker.
The club also allowed Stevan Jovetic a transfer this summer, leaving just Aguero and Wilfried Bony as recognised strikers at the club.
It therefore would appear that Manuel Pellegrini is ready to give young talent such as Kelechi Iheanacho and Jose Pozo a chance next season.
Or that a big name signing is just around the corner.
