The Swedish outfit will take on Scottish Premiership champions Celtic in the playoff round of the Champions League this month.
The 24-year-old Norway international, who played for the Bhoys on loan from Cardiff City in 2014, believes that Malmo have what it takes to get the better of Ronny Deila’s side.
"This was the draw I had hoped for,” the 24-year-old told The Scottish Sun. “Celtic are a good team with great traditions. It will be tough, but fun.
"Celtic are a good team. They're used to winning in the league and will be very hungry to reach the Champions League. I know some of the players so I know what they are good at."
First leg key
The first leg of the playoff tie will be held at Celtic’s home ground, Celtic Park. This match will be of huge importance.
The Bhoys simply cannot afford to concede a goal, or else they could be in serious danger of getting knocked out.
Deila’s side should try to win the first leg by a good margin – maybe 2-0 – to make it easier for themselves for the second leg in Sweden a week later.
