Gary Mackay-Steven has a special reason to look forward to Partick Thistle clash

Celtic will face Partick Thistle away from home in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.

Celtic winger Gary Mackay-Steven has explained on the club’s official Twitter page why the game against Partick Thistle at the weekend is special for him.

The Bhoys will take on Thistle in the Scottish Premiership away from home at the Firhill Stadium on Sunday.

Mackay-Steven made his debut for the Hoops against Thistle away from home in February, and he is looking forward to returning there this weekend.

Easy win for Celtic?

Celtic should be confident of winning Sunday’s Scottish Premiership clash against Thistle away from home.

The Hoops have a much stronger and better squad, and it will be a huge surprise if they slip up.

However, Ronny Deila’s side must not become complacent and should remain professional as always.

An early goal for the home team could make things tricky for Celtic, but the Bhoys should eventually come out on top.

Celtic began the defence of their Scottish Premiership title with a 2-0 victory over Ross County at Celtic Park last weekend.
