Report: West Brom not tracking Craig Noone, retain interest in Matt Phillips and Michail Antonio

West Brom still want to sign the Nottingham Forest and QPR stars this summer.

The Baggies are still looking to bring another winger in this summer, and a report in the Birmingham Mail has updated their search for Tony Pulis' next signing of this transfer window.

After missing out on Bakary Sako to Crystal Palace, the Midlands club are still looking at QPR’s Matt Phillips and Nottingham Forest star Michail Antonio. However, they are still unwilling to pay the asking prices being demanded by their current employers, and will only consider making a move should the club’s demands be lowered.

The financial reasons are why the deal for Sako was ended - as the player wanted too large a wage packet - and Tony Pulis believes he can get better value elsewhere.

However, money is also preventing him moving for two of his other prime targets, whilst the report states that the Baggies are not planning a move for another player said to be linked with them.

Craig Noone, the 27-year-old winger with Cardiff City, was reportedly interesting the club yesterday, but the Mail report states that he is not on Tony Pulis’ wish list.

He has got other players lined up - aside from Antonio and Phillips - but the report does not state the names of any of those the Midlands club will pursue.
