Saturday's Championship opener with Burnley draws nearer. Here's how the Leeds squad have been preparing.
Lewis Cook was pictured clearly enjoying Leeds United training on Thursday afternoon as the Yorkshire side prepare for their Championship opener against Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
Leeds will host the Clarets at Elland Road during the day's early kick-off at 12.30pm (although Cardiff v Fulham is on half an hour earler) and the anticipation is at fever-pitch ahead of the opening-day showdown.
After a 2-0 win against Everton last weekend to round off pre-season, things are all looking bright for the Whites rather suddenly.
A victory was all that was needed after several friendlies without one. But now that Uwe Rosler has delivered it - and against Premier League opposition - all of Leeds' stable work in the transfer market over the summer is starting to be appreciated.
There is no need to get carried away, however, and Rosler certainly wasn't doing so while Cook and co were all smiles in Leeds practice.
Naturally, it's a great sign to see the players enjoying training just two days before the new league campaign. But it's even more encouraging to see the manager - unlike a Brendan Rodgers - not trying to laugh and joke for the rather pointless benefit of the camera.
Instead, the Leeds boss remains focused and so too do his players. Here's the rest of the images from their Thursday training session:
