Tottenham Hotspur's Nacer Chadli has been ranked third among all Premier League players based on his success in front of goal throughout the previous top-flight campaign.
Based on a qualifying criteria of a minimum of 30 shots (excluding blocked shots), the Spurs midfielder finished third in the conversion rankings, behind only Chelsea's Diego Costa and Newcastle United's Papiss Cisse.
|Team||Scoring V Shooting Accuracy||Appearances|
|Papiss Demba Cissé||Newcastle||24%||22|
|Mame Biram Diouf||Stoke||20%||34|
|David Silva||Man City||18%||32|
Having converted 20% of his total attempts at goal last season - scoring 11 goals - he finished the season as a more clinical asset than the likes of Sergio Aguero and team-mate Harry Kane; the Premier League's top two goal-scorers.
Fantasy League managers may wish to consider the Belgian winger for their team selections this season. Priced at only £7 million, having finished the previous season as the eighth highest scoring midfielder, he could be one to rely upon for goals in midfield.
The 25-year-old was one of the seven players signed at a cost of more than £100 million in the summer window of 2013, when Gareth Bale moved to Real Madrid for a world record fee.
However, while that spending spree was largely a failure, Chadli has proved to be an excellent buy.
Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping his signings of the current summer window will go on to have the same impact as the Belgian international at White Hart Lane.
