Tim Sherwood has been busy this summer, with nine new recruits and they'll need to mould quickly.
Manager Tim Sherwood has been extremely busy this summer, with Sinclair one of nine new faces having arrived at Villa Park so far.
The former Spurs boss has spent big to try and reinvigorate his squad as he seeks to make sure they don’t repeat last season when they narrowly avoided relegation from the Premier League.
And Sinclair is hoping the new squad can mould together sooner rather than later.
“The manager’s bringing a fair few players in and it’s exciting for the fans,” the Mirror reports him as saying.
“Hopefully we’ll mould together quickly rather than later. We just need to make sure we perform now when it starts for real. We’ve got a great squad and a lot of good characters so it’s one of those teams that you should be able to settle in very quickly.”
Hard work for Sherwood
A big concern for Sherwood and his side will be the fact that all of their signings so far this summer, bar Sinclair, are lacking in Premier League experience.
While they are likely to be talented individuals, it can often take some time for new players to adapt to the Premier League and perform at their best level, another problem Sherwood will have to deal with.
While it is exciting for the fans with so many new signings arriving, it will take all of their manager’s efforts to ensure they’re not left trailing behind once the season is properly underway.
