The Sunderland Echo has reported that Sunderland are in talks with Manchester United over a loan move for talented Belgian wide man Adnan Januzaj.
Januzaj burst onto the scene at Old Trafford under David Moyes before signing a new long term contract at United.
However, he’s failing to get himself up the pecking order under current manager David Moyes, which has created a situation which Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat is looking to take advantage of.
What are the terms on the table?
The paper reports that Sunderland are looking to close out a season long loan move for the player, with productive talks thought to have already been held between the two sides.
Will anything stop a move from happening?
It’s unlikely, considering there is still plenty of time left in the transfer window.
However, Manchester United’s lack of attacking options up front may make van Gaal want to delay any deal slightly, in case it’s more difficult for his team to sign an extra player.
United have vast resources, which means any club they approach as they look to buy a player, is likely to play hard ball to get maximum value.
