Bolton Wanderers have announced via their official website they have re-signed veteran striker Emile Heskey.
The 37-year-old made a surprise comeback to English football last season, joining Bolton as a free agent after a spell in Australia.
The former Leicester, Liverpool, and Aston Villa forward adds experience to Neil Lennon's side, and is likely to go straight into the squad for the season's opener at home to promotion favourites Derby County.
Heskey has signed a one-year deal with Neil Lennon's side, keeping the number 19 shirt he donned last season.

The former England international scored one goal in 16 Championship games last season, but did manage to help out by laying on four assists.
Bolton had hoped to bring back loanee Adam Le Fondre for the season from Cardiff, only for the 28-year-old to join Wolves earlier this week.
Heskey is a not so exciting consolation prize, and fans are not exactly bowled over by enthusiasm by the club's ambition in asking the forward to return for another year.
Here is a look at the reaction via Twitter to Heskey's new deal...
Lennon giving heskey a contract is just like giving a abandoned old dog a home for its last few years #bwfc— The North Stand 5 (@BWFCNorthstand5) August 5, 2015

Bolton complete the signings of Stephen Dobbie & Lawrie Wilson while Heskey gets new deal. The quality of player we now sign is tragic #bwfc— Ben Yaffe (@BenYaffe1) August 5, 2015
