West Ham United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the news that Enner Valencia will be out for at least 10 weeks.
The Ecuador international forward has been ruled out for 10 to 12 weeks with ankle and knee injuries, as announced on the club's official website on Monday.
Valencia picked up the injuries against Astra Giurgiu in the first leg of the Europa League third qualifying round last week.
The 25-year-old is one of the better players in the current West Ham squad and will be key in their aim to finish in the top eight of the Premier League this season.
The 2014 summer signing was one of the Hammers’ best players during the 2014-15 campaign.
The former Emelec forward scored four goals and created 17 chances in 32 Premier League appearances for the London outfit last season.
The injury to Valencia is a huge blow to the Hammers, who will now have to sign a replacement.
Following the news, West Ham fans took to Twitter to have their say.

Gutted that Valencia is out for 3 months. Hoping that Sakho will step up and perform in his place #COYI— Thomas Pidcock (@TheMajesticPugg) August 3, 2015
It's the "West Ham Way" that Valencia is bound to be out for the season, so we've gone from needing 1 striker to 2. GET CHARLIE AUSTIN #COYI— Paul Kelly (@UptonPK) August 1, 2015
