Following the confirmation of Stuart Dallas’s arrival at Leeds United, the Northern Irish winger took to Twitter to exclaim his happiness at moving to Elland Road.
Dallas arrives in Yorkshire to fix the winger problem that has been present for a number of years, and he is expected to fit straight into Uwe Rosler’s first-team this weekend, as the Championship season starts.
A 24-year-old international star, Dallas played 75 times for Brentford, working under Rosler in West London a few years ago. He drastically improves the Leeds team, and is another arrow in the Whites’ already impressive quiver as they look to get back into the Premier League after an extended absence.
Dallas certainly sounds excited to have linked up with the giants of English football, and having already started training with his new teammates, it is no surprise that he wants to get the season underway.
The Whites get their Championship campaign underway this weekend, facing relegated Premier League side Burnley on Saturday. It promises to be an intriguing game, but one of real promise, considering all the good work that hs gone on off the field of play at Elland Road this summer.
Astute signings have been made, a promising manager is in charge, and Massimo Cellino is running the club well off the pitch. Everything looks to be moving in the right direction, and Dallas has seemingly joined Leeds at the perfect time.
