Queens Park Rangers striker Tyler Blackwood has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at making his home debut for his new club.

The 23-year-old signed a one-year contract with QPR after a successful trial period last month.

Blackwood came on as a substitute in the 65th minute and gave a good account of himsel during the remainder of the game, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Following the match, the striker took to Twitter to revel in playing at Loftus Road for the first summer.

Fellow summer signing Massimo Luongo also played against Italian outfit Atalanta.

The 22-year-old midfielder, who moved from Swindon Town earlier this summer, started the encounter and played for 55 minutes.

The former Tottenham Hotspur prospect is looking forward to the start of the 2015-16 Championship campaign.
