C Suisse exec killed in air display accident

The pilot killed during an aerial display at a British car show on Saturday was Kevin Whyman, a banker with Credit Suisse.

Bloomberg News reports that Whyman, 39, a former pilot with the Royal Air Force, was taking part in the display in Cheshire for CarFest when his plane crashed about a mile from the festival site. He was head of European asset backed securities sales at Credit Suisse, according to his LinkedIn profile.

'We are deeply saddened to learn of the tragic death of Kevin Whyman, who was killed in an aircraft crash in Cheshire over the weekend. We extend our deepest condolences to Kevin’s family and friends', Vanessa Neill, a spokeswoman for Credit Suisse, said in an e-mailed statement.
