Celtic are preparing for a vital match later this week.
Celtic’s players have been photographed at the airport as they head out to Azerbaijan for their Champions League qualifying match against Qarabag.
Ronny Deila’s side lead 1-0 from the first leg courtesy of a late goal from summer signing Dedryck Boyata but they have plenty of work to do away from home to ensure they remain in the competition.
Qarabag proved resilient opponents at Celtic Park, keeping the Bhoys at bay for large periods of the match and allowing them only four shots on target.
Thankfully for Celtic one of those found the back of the net and an away goal later this week will certainly ease the tension among the club’s fans and players.
In photos posted on Celtic’s official Twitter account, Boyata, Virgil van Dijk, Scott Brown and Leigh Griffiths were among those snapped at the airport, along with Callum McGregor who has recently returned from injury.
Celtic started the defence of their Scottish Premiership title with a 2-0 victory against Ross County at the weekend and they will be hoping for another clean-sheet on Wednesday.
