The 29-year-old Real Madrid star still seems to be fond of his time at White Hart Lane, ahead of tomorrow's Audi Cup meeting with his old club.
Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has posted a picture message on his Instagram account ahead of his side's meeting with former club Tottenham Hotspur in the Audi Cup tomorrow.
The White Hart Lane outfit take on the La Liga giants in Munich at 17:15 BST, and each side will then play against either AC Milan or Bayern Munich, who face off in another game, the day after depending on the results in the two matches.
Neither Modric or Bale have ever played against Tottenham in their careers, though both players were involved in the two Champions League quarter-final matches Spurs played against Los Blancos in 2011.
Those fixtures ended in a 5-0 aggregate defeat of the North Londoners, where a Peter Crouch red card at the Bernabeu early on in the first leg, and Heurelho Gomes howler at home saw them struggle against the Spaniards.
The 29-year-old Croatia intentional spent four years at Spurs, playing 159 times and scoring 17 goals, while Bale was at the Lane for six seasons before moving for a world record fee in 2013.
Spurs have missed the quality of both since they switched to Spain, though with plenty of young stars emerging from the White Hart Lane academy, the match with Real will be an opportunity for those hungry players to test themselves against some of the best in the world.
