Former Tottenham Hotspur chairman Lord Sugar has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his verdict on Arsenal’s chances of winning the Premier League title this season.
The 2015-16 Premier League campaign is just a few days away, and Lord Sugar fancies Spurs’ bitter North London rivals Arsenal to reclaim the title they last won in 2004.
Arsenal fans who don’t think Benzema is ‘worth' 2/3 of Bale are idiots. #afc— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) August 2, 2015
I fancy Wenger for the league this season . So restrain yourself before slagging him off this season . https://t.co/OtL0aUiamW— Lord Sugar (@Lord_Sugar) August 2, 2015
Lord Sugar’s prediction will probably not go down well with Tottenham fans – for obvious reasons – but there is a good chance that the Gunners could win the Premier League title this term.
Arsenal have three of the best players in England in Petr Cech, Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, and given their strong end to last season, fans should be optimistic.
Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City will be the other three challengers for the Premier League title this season, which means that the Gunners will find it extremely tough.
Over the years, Arsene Wenger’s side have not started their Premier League campaigns well.
If Arsenal make a strong start to this season, then they will certainly have a very good chance of claiming the title.
