Connor Wickham has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at joining Crystal Palace.
The 22-year-old striker has left Sunderland to sign for Premier League rivals Palace on a five-year contract.
Wickham is delighted to have made the switch and has posted the following message on Twitter:
Wickham had been on the books of Sunderland since 2011, when he joined them from Ipswich Town.
The Englishman is rated as a very promising young forward and made 36 appearances in the Premier League for the Black Cats last season.
In those 36 league matches, the youngster scored five goals, created 21 chances, had a pass accuracy of 65% and a shot accuracy of 43%, and won 95 headers, 43 dribbles and 41 tackles.
